Netherlands Bike Trip We had planned our route out of Amsterdam the night before (yes ... before be had a beer) and we were full of confindence. Unfortunately, I made a wrong turn in one of the large parks and we got lost. At first all the milestones looked right according to the map ... crossed a major road ... passed under some railway tracks ... went through another park ... etc. ... but then something just felt wrong. We stopped to check the street signs and could not find them on the map where we thought they should be. Finally, we asked someone for help. He pointed on the map where we were and I couldn't believe it. We had done a complete circle and were now further away from our intended route than when we started over 45 minutes ago. Feeling just a little embarassed, I plotted another route and we quickly joined our planned bike path out of Amsterdam. The problem with the Netherlands is that there are just to damn many bike paths!!!!
